Teresa Stas is a national speaker, author, and CEO of Green Cactus Event Sponsorship Agency.  Her book “Sell Your Event!” was named one of the best new sponsorship books to read in 2022 by BookAuthority, and landed #1 in three categories on the Amazon Bestsellers List upon its debut.

She has brokered millions of dollars in sponsorships for her clients working with national and regional brands. She currently handles partnerships for several events along the west coast, including the national relay Hood to Coast, the Oregon State Fair, and Country Fan Fest.

Teresa’s workshops and sponsorship sessions cover many topics, from sponsorship 101 to the best way to prospect. Her talks include actionable information and can be tailored to specific groups and even come with workbooks and takeaways. 

Teresa holds Master’s Degree from Florida International University in Mega Event Management and a BA from Oregon State University. She writes the column “Small Event, Big Sponsors” for IFEA’s “ie” magazine, and her online course SellSponsorships.com has been used in university coursework and by event professionals alike. She currently resides in central California with her husband and stepson.
